Many  times you don't want a permanent "lock" for your project. Threadlocker Blue 242 is specifically designed for use on bolts that may require disassembly with hand tools. It supplies a strong hold preventing loosening from vibrations and shock while protecting threads from corrosion and rust.

Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242 works very well on plated surfaces and stainless steel.  Engineered for locking and sealing and locking threaded fasteners between 1/4" and 3/4" in diameter.
